DESCRIPTION:
Low Flow improvment for the Rio Salado (Salt River) through downtown Phoenix. This work was in preparation for the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Projects. The work included: • 750,000 CY of unlined channel excavation • 70,000 CY of roller compacted concrete • 150,000 tons of inert waste removal • 13,000 tons of municipal waste removal • 1,500 tons of tires removed. Project included surface water management as well as dewatering. |
